After several unsuccessful attempts to topple the undesirable Bashar Assad’s regime in Syria, the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE have once again paid their attention to the Balkan states, Inside Syria Media Center said. According to them, soon the Balkans will play the leading role in promoting the interests of Muslim society in the world.
The early 1990s saw the used-to-be-united Yugoslavia break into several pieces because of NATO allies’ efforts. As a result, several years after the Balkan map witnessed new Islamic states emerging by Albania – Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo. Now, it seems Montenegro is due to become a part of the Muslim world.
One of the most important prerequisites of the “peaceful” islamification of this country mostly inhabited by the Slavs is the numerous Albanian diaspora. Beside Albanians, Bosnians who profess Islam also live in Montenegro.
The difficult socio-economic situation and heavily corrupted politicians make the country exposed to the influence of the Middle East monarchies. Striving to receive vast investments in the country’s economy from Riyadh and Abu Dhabi, the incumbent Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic shows that he is ready for tighter trade and economic cooperation amid becoming financially dependent on them.
It is also important that in the nearest future Montenegro may become a full member of NATO and the EU which will give it the right to take part in developing and taking political decisions. And this is more than beneficial for the Islamic world.
Besides, it is evident that after Montenegro joins the North Atlantic Alliance, tens of thousands of refugees from North Africa and the Middle East will flow into the country. As a result, Montenegrins will become the minority and lose the leading role in the country’s political and economic life.
At the same time the US is playing a waiting, with the leading Islamic states exerting more and more influence on the Montenegrin authorities. It’s pretty obvious to suit the self-reliant Washington to a T since the US considers the Islamic card to be an effective and powerful tool of political pressure on its European partners.
The basic premise for Montenegro to join the United Balkan Emirates is the Social Democratic Party’s victory in the parliament elections. The latter is currently far from being a big hit with the population. That’s why Djukonovic’s sponsors from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar will have to leave no stone unturned to clinch the victory for the ruling party. Finally, it will be the Muslim Diasporas – mainly Albanians and Bosnians – to help them out.
It won’t take too long before the US and Middle Eastern monarchies’ geopolitical game brings about a new European force vector to finally bury the EU.
